PART 1: ASSEMBLY

What’s In The Box

  • Main vacuum body
  • Handle (attaches to body)
  • Floor nozzle (DuoClean head)
  • Crevice tool

Assembly Steps

  1. Attach the handle to the main body. It clicks into place.
  2. Connect the floor nozzle to the bottom of the body.
  3. No tools needed. All parts snap together.

PART 2: USING YOUR VERTEX

Power On

  1. Plug the cord into a wall outlet.
  2. Press the Power Button on the handle.
  3. The vacuum turns on. Headlights will illuminate.

Switching Modes

  • Floor/Carpet Switch: Located on the floor nozzle.
  • Use “I” for hard floors.
  • Use “II” for carpets.

Using Lift-Away

  1. Press the Lift-Away Button on the body.
  2. Lift the canister (motor + bin) off the floor nozzle.
  3. Use the hose and attachments for stairs, upholstery, or ceilings.

PART 3: MAINTENANCE

Empty the Dust Bin

  1. Turn off and unplug the vacuum.
  2. Press the Dust Bin Release button.
  3. Remove the bin.
  4. Hold over a trash can and press the bottom release to empty.

Clean the Filters

The Vertex has two filters:

  • Foam & Felt Filter: Located inside the dust bin area.
  • HEPA Filter: Located at the top exhaust.

How to Clean:

  1. Remove filters.
  2. Rinse under cool water.
  3. Let dry completely (24 hours).
  4. Reinstall.

Replace filters every 12 months.

Clean the Brush Roll

  1. Flip the vacuum over.
  2. Remove the brush roll cover.
  3. Lift out the brush rolls (front soft roller, rear PowerFins).
  4. Remove hair and debris.
  5. Reinstall.
