PART 1: ASSEMBLY
What’s In The Box
- Main vacuum body
- Handle (attaches to body)
- Floor nozzle (DuoClean head)

Assembly Steps
- Attach the handle to the main body. It clicks into place.
- Connect the floor nozzle to the bottom of the body.
- No tools needed. All parts snap together.
PART 2: USING YOUR VERTEX
Power On
- Plug the cord into a wall outlet.
- Press the Power Button on the handle.
- The vacuum turns on. Headlights will illuminate.
Switching Modes
- Floor/Carpet Switch: Located on the floor nozzle.
- Use “I” for hard floors.
- Use “II” for carpets.
Using Lift-Away
- Press the Lift-Away Button on the body.
- Lift the canister (motor + bin) off the floor nozzle.
- Use the hose and attachments for stairs, upholstery, or ceilings.
PART 3: MAINTENANCE
Empty the Dust Bin
- Turn off and unplug the vacuum.
- Press the Dust Bin Release button.
- Remove the bin.
- Hold over a trash can and press the bottom release to empty.
Clean the Filters
The Vertex has two filters:
- Foam & Felt Filter: Located inside the dust bin area.
- HEPA Filter: Located at the top exhaust.
How to Clean:
- Remove filters.
- Rinse under cool water.
- Let dry completely (24 hours).
- Reinstall.
Replace filters every 12 months.
Clean the Brush Roll
- Flip the vacuum over.
- Remove the brush roll cover.
- Lift out the brush rolls (front soft roller, rear PowerFins).
- Remove hair and debris.
- Reinstall.
